Melanoma of the neck area – an extremely danger zone. Be careful.
Melanoma on the neck can appear as a new, dark, or changing mole, a sore, or an unusual skin growth. Symptoms can also include an enlarged lymph node in the neck or a sore that won’t heal. Treatment typically starts with surgical removal of the melanoma, though more advanced cases may require a combination of surgery, radiation therapy, and other treatments.
