Dermatoscopy

Dermatoscopy represents the noninvasive method for the study of the upper layers of the skin.

It uses a dermatoscope, which represents an optical system equipped with a light source, enabling a more clear and precise visualization of the cutaneous neoplasms.

The method is easily applicable and is used mainly in distinguishing benign from malignant tumors of the skin.
